Loading...This movie is a laughter riot, that somehow missed commercial success. A Chicago gangster (Sylvester Stallone) has made a vow to his father(Kirk Douglas) when the latter is on his deathbed, that he would give up his evil ways. Is he up to the challenge?
His unwed daughter( Marisa Tomei) brings hism news that she is pregnant, thanks to his chauffer.
A young woman comes out of the blue, claiming that she is his daughter. A young man admits to the gangster that he has embezzeled $50,000 from him. Worse, the young man and his new 'daughter' are in love.
The Gangster has his own share of problems. A dufis(Chazz Palminteri) is his main hitman. He has to take English lessons from a British teacher(Tim Currry).
Does he really stand a chance?
A very different role for Stallone, who throws in a decent performance, Marissa is great as ever and all the rest of the crew simply dazzle in their roles. This movie is a 'must see'.
