This movie is a hidden gem directed by David Mamet. An author, psychiatrist (Lindsay Crouse) decides to help one of her patients who is indebted to a professional con artist(Joe Mantegna). To strike a deal with him, she meets in a seedy hangout, called the 'House of Games'.
Soon, the con man and his friends takes her for a trip across town and shows her his dextrous ways of fooling the innocent. Soon the psychiatrist is pulled into his web of deceipt.
