Movie Review: Waking Ned Devine (1998)

This is a lighthearted, heartwarming movie and has a healthy dose of subtle British Humor. In a remote, little village full of lovable old people(Well, except for one wicked hag), Ned Devine is dead hanging on to a winning lottery ticket.

Two buddies Jackie O'Shea (Ian Bannen) and Michael O'Sullivan (David Kelly) who discover his body, conspire to impersonate him and collect payment. Fate will not let them selfishly keep all the money to themselves in this hillarious comedy. Waking Ned Devine is small in budget but big on laughs. Worth watching.
