Spring is in the Air...

Flowers are in bloom and the larks are singing but for us SDMers the bad karma from this semester still looms over us in the form of assignments in Innovation, Systems Optimization and the impending grades of an unnamed subject.

This week all of Mit looks like a ghost town except for our department which still shows signs of activity.

I plan to add to the woes of all SMDers by asking them to write a few articles for the SDM newsletter. Why would I do that to my already overworked, unsuspecting peers?

Parkinson's Law states that work expands to fill the total time available.A corrolary of it is that when you want something done, you give it to the busiest person. So there!

And finally, a litte publicity never hurt anyone,though my photograph may need an upgrade.
